Thomas Treece (Florida Marlins, Kansas City A's)

E-Mail: ironcitytt@yahoo.com

Born: On a Christmas morn in the middle of the turbulent 60's
Residence: Defiance, Ohio
Occupation: Business - Marketing/Sales (Currently between jobs), also umpire high school baseball and do MLB statistics for Stats, Inc. since 1994.
Favorite Team/Player: 1979 Pirates... Still use Stargell and the #8 in some form for most of my passwords. Carried Willie's baseball card in my back uniform pocket when playing baseball throughout jr. high and high school.
Favorite Baseball Books: Shoeless Joe, Ball Four, The Bronx Zoo, Centerfield Jinx, Base Burglar, Fielder from Nowhere, Out of Left Field, Bill Stern's Favorite Baseball Stories, Snap Me Perfect.

Interest in the Cubs/Tigers/Marlins:
Cubs: Listened to/watched a lot of WGN with Harry Caray in the 1980's with the teams of Sandberg/Dawson. Harry is my all-time favorite announcer.
Tigers: Grew up with many of my friends as Tigers' fans and the 1984 Tigers were treasured by many around here with their 35-5 start and ultimate World Series victory.
Marlins: Lived in Miami 2004-2005. Enjoyed going to Pro-Player/Dolphins Stadium and being blinded by all the empty orange seats.
Strat-O-Matic background: Played solitary and tried to replay seasons in the mid-70s when I was but a 4th and 5th grader. Played in face-to-face leagues in college at Duquesne University in 1984-86. Got into internet leagues beginning in 2000 as expansion manager in Continental Baseball Assoc. and helped found the Rany's Rejects in 2002.
