JULY 30

Bob Lemon allowed Chicago AL's manager to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game and second baseman Nellie Fox had 4 hits at Comiskey Park where the
Chicago AL White Sox beat the New York AL Yankees 7 to 2.
Chicago AL scored all of the necessary runs in the 5th inning showing no mercy
on New York AL as they plated 7 runs on 7 hits.  The key offensive moment was
provided by Jim Busby who excited the crowd when he doubled which was good
for two runs.  Chicago AL managed 12 hits in their victory.
The victory was credited to Lemon(17-6) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. Allie Reynolds(5-5) took the loss.  He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 7 runs in 6 innings.
