Left fielder Jimmie Hall cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Minnesota
Twins beat the Chicago AL White Sox by a score of 8 to 1.

The Minnesota fans enjoyed the offense provided by Hall.  He popped a two-run
clout over the fence in the 1st inning, laced a single in the 4th inning and
ripping a solo home run (his 7th of the season) in the 8th inning.  Minnesota
had 14 hits for the night while Chicago AL had 11.

Steve Hargan(1-3) got the win allowing 1 run in 8 and 2/3 innings. Joel
Horlen(0-4) was charged with the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 12
hits and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.

With this win, Minnesota has a 13-12 record.  They have been 5-5 lately.
Chicago AL's manager was pretty down after the loss.  'We've really been
sputtering along lately, something like 2-8 in the last week or two.  That
won't get it done.'
