AUGUST 10 In a close game the dominant Cincinnati Reds got by the Los Angeles Dodgers by the score of 5 to 3. Milt Wilcox(13-4) pitched well for Cincinnati in their victory. He surrendered 3 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings. Overall Cincinnati out-hit Los Angeles 10 to 5. Joe Sambito recorded his 21st save. Ed Figueroa(4-8) took the loss.
