Previous message                 Next message Message #: 14418 Message from: Steve Bivens Sent: Feb 28, 2013 Subject: Seattle Mariner Season Tickets Gentlemen,   Our branch has been season ticket holders for the Seattle Mariners for quite some time. I was interested in exploring the Diamond Club so was I was comped a couple of seats for the last game of the season against the Angels. I took a couple photos from Row 7 and have attached one here for your viewing pleasure.  You will see Kyle Seger in the box (facing Nick Maronda who is not in the shot). Why I took a photo of Seger and didn’t take a photo of Mike Trout (who plays like a stud) is beyond me.  Wasn’t really thinking on that one. You can see the Mariners paltry three AL West Flags flying proudly from the top of the stadium. Safeco Field is a very nice venue.  Unfortunately I am not a Mariners fan but it does afford me the opportunity to see the Angels or Dodgers when they come to town. The experience in the Diamond Club is like no other.  The food inside is premium and all you can eat.  The bar inside is free (while I personally don’t drink I do understand that for some this is a huge benefit!).  You can take food to your seat from inside or you can order from your seat and they’ll bring it to you.  The game view is stellar and they make you feel like a millionaire (since being one would be helpful in paying for these seats). The downside is you sometimes have to rub shoulders with prima donnas who wouldn’t know baseball from ping pong and the price per seat is….well….excessive? (to say the least if you are a purist who would be perfectly happy just watching a good game).
