JUNE 29 At Olympic Stadium the Montreal Expos outscored the Los Angeles Dodgers 6 to 3. In the bottom of the 3rd inning Montreal went on top for good when they tallied 2 runs on 3 hits. Los Angeles had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short. The victory was credited to Vern Ruhle(9-5) who went 7 innings, allowing 1 run. Burt Hooton(9-6) took the loss. He allowed Montreal 6 runs in 5 innings of work.
