If you have a starting pitcher slotted to start in your pitching schedule
(in your computer manager) then he will start that game REGARDLESS if he is
active or not.
It is not enough to deselect the pitcher from the promote/demote screen.
You must also remove them from the pitching schedule in your computer
manager.

I saw the same thing happen with my team. There is a league setting under
'Options/Lineups and Usage' called 'Minor Leaguers - Eligible' that is on.
I
am pretty sure that is what is causing this.

Billy,

With 110% usage, the only Yankee player who is over is Ken Chase. I see
he's inactive, so I assume he won't be pitching the last series.

I just checked my team, and noticed I had 3 guys who have been inactive
for
2 or 3 weeks go over in at bats/innings. They were placed as inactive prior
to going over.

I also noticed that these same guys come up as active when I play the road
games here.

I wanted to inform you of this.
