Left fielder Dusty Baker connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI as the Los
Angeles Dodgers rallied impressively to win in dramatic style over New York
NL Mets, 7 to 6.

Los Angeles came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning with 3 runs
utilizing 2 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Bob Bailor opened up the
rally as he reached on an error.  Pedro Guerrero next to the plate and he
lined a one-base hit.  Baker then lost the ball over the fence for three runs
(his 11th of the season).  This was a game of many highs and lows for the
home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.

Lee Smith(3-4) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Tom Gorman(0-1)
was charged with the loss in relief.  'The only way this one could have been
better', said Smith, 'was if we had played it at home.'
