Los Angeles came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning with 3 runs utilizing 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Bob Bailor opened up the rally as he reached on an error. Pedro Guerrero next to the plate and he lined a one-base hit. Baker then lost the ball over the fence for three runs (his 11th of the season). This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all. Lee Smith(3-4) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the victory.
