In the battle of the Soxes, it's a draw.

Game 1: Burks led off the game with a single and Boston didn't get another hit until 2 out in the 5th. The managed to load the bases in both the 2nd and 3rd without a hit (3 walks, 2 hbp and an error). IN the 2nd they did it with no one out and managed to score 1 run, thanks to a wild pitch with 2 outs. Even with the amenic offense, they led 1-0 into the 4th. 5 straight rolls in the 1 column for the White Sox produced 2 outs, then a triple, double, single to give them a 2-1 lead. After Greenwell missed a 1-19 double that could have tied the game in the top of the 5th, Jack Clark got a hr 1 flyout to up the lead to 4-1.  5 more singles in the inning produced 3 more runs and the final 7-1 score.

Game 2: Todd Benzinger lined a 2 run single after a 2 base error by Wallach to put the Red Sox up 2-1 after 5. A Calderon homer tied it in the 6th and then the White Sox got a triple, 2 singles and a sac fly to score the winning runs in the 8th. Boston got 2 runners on in the 9th and the game ended with Boston missing their 4th (or maybe 5th) bp homer chance of the game.

Game 3: Boston took a 2-1 lead into the 7th. After Stanley allowed 2 base runners, Bedrosian came on and allowed a walk to load the bases before a double gave Chicago a 3-2 lead. Bedrosian managed to work out of further damage. Ashby homered with 1 out in the 9th to tie the game. Stayed that way until the 12th, when a single, another Wallach 2 base error and a walk loaded the bases for Mike Greenwell. He took John Habyan deep for the grand slam and Boston won 7-3.

game 4: Chicago broke a 1-1 tie in the 5th with a run. Boston then used 6 straight one out hits to score 5 times to take the lead. White Sox got a double, walk, single, singled to get 2 runs in the 7th before a double play looked like it would end the inning. A passed ball and 2 more singles made it 6-5 before Clemens got himself out of the inning. Boston got the only base runner the last 2 innings and held on for the win and the split.
