Thanks Bob,
The A's were tough this year. They pound the ball! I agree that the Twins
bullpen was the likely difference. The Twins have enjoyed lady luck as well.
In games that my pitching did not hold up, we often scored a ton. and, in
those games where our offense suffered, the pitching came through, etc. The
20 sided die has been kind too.
Bob, I expect the A's to be fighting for the top of the AL west in 1970, and
I plan to be there too, so we do have a friendly rivalry. Beyond that, I
will have my work cut for me to keep with the A's - the Twins are beginning
to get old. Later on, we have 1987 through 1992 to look forward to in terms
of some potential dog fights for the AL west flag. It will be fun!
