Dear Strat-O-Matic Gamers,
As we move deeper and deeper into the Digital Age, Strat-O-Matic must continue to change with the times as well. It is with great excitement that I reveal our Electronic Delivery (E-Delivery) Project.
Effective immediately, the following computer baseball seasons will be available via E-Delivery: 1927, 1934, 1941, 1961, 1964, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1975, 1978, 1986, 1998, and 2003. Purchase any of these 13 seasons and an authorization code will be automatically delivered electronically to your Strat-O-Matic account, allowing you to use the rosters instantly. The price point of $22.00 for season rosters will remain the same, and of course, due to the electronic delivery method of the products, there will be no shipping fee. Due to the high costs to develop the E-Delivery system, there will be a $2.00 processing fee for all E-Delivery products. However, we are very confident that this new electronic system will be a great convenience for all parties involved, both now and in the future.
The plan moving forward is to have a carefully monitored rollout, starting with the select baseball rosters mentioned above, before eventually releasing every other baseball season. After that, our full baseball computer game will become available via E-Delivery, followed by our other three sports computer games (and rosters)?football, hockey and basketball. We anticipate all of our computer products to be electronically deliverable before Christmas Day.
For those who would still like to receive a hard copy of the authorization code, you must place your order over the phone, after which, you will be mailed an invoice with the authorization code. A $5 processing fee plus postage will be assessed, just like any other phone order. When the four computer games become available via E-Delivery, a surcharge and shipping fee will be added for those who prefer the CD version.
The ultimate goal in this project is to phase out hard mailings of computer products entirely, while continuing to put out the best possible products each and every year.
