Twins take game #3 in a 5-0 shutout. Kevin Tapani comes off the 35 man taxi squad to pitch 6 shutout innings and sropping his ERA to 0.79. Juan Berenguer picked up his 2nd save of the year with a 3 inning 1 hit allowed save.
Minnesota scored first in the 3rd as Kevin Bass tripled and scored on a Dave Gallagher ground out. The Twins made it 2-0 in the 5th as Brian Harper singled and moved to 2nd. on a Greg Gagne bunt. Harper then would eventually score on 2 wild pitches from Mike Moore. Minnesota blew it open in the 5th scoring 3 runs. Gary gaetti ahd a RBI single followed by a 2 run double from Brian Harper.
