Well, this season is not starting well. Senators sweep White Sox to send Chicago's record to 1-13. C'mon guys! This isn't going to get us a better draft pick. Stadium in a hard fought contest. Ray Culp(1-2) pitched well in relief and was credited with the victory. He didn't give up much, just 2 hits and no walks in 2 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.86 to 3.29. Chicago AL had 15 hits in the game while Washington had 8, but Washington had the more timely hits. Culp got relief help from Steve Ridzik who gained credit for his 2nd save.
