Sid Bream enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He clubbed a solo home run in the 3rd inning, lined a one-base hit bringing in two baserunners in the 4th inning and doubled which plated a run in the 6th inning. Overall Milwaukee out-hit Minnesota 15 to 12.
The winning pitcher was Bill Wegman(10-5) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Scott Erickson(9-5) was charged with the loss. He was touched for 10 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
