Designated hitter Paul Molitor had 4 hits as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Minnesota Twins by the score of 7 to 2 at The Skydome.
Toronto started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the first scoring a single run utilizing 3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Molitor doubled. John Olerud followed and he delivered a single. Joe Carter then doubled. Toronto finished with 14 hits while Minnesota ended up with 10.
Todd Stottlemyre(4-9) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Scott Erickson(6-7) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 11 hits and no walks in 6 innings.

Chili Davis knocked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Minnesota Twins defeated the Toronto Blue Jays by the score of 7 to 2 at The Skydome.
Davis had a big evening at the plate. He clubbed a solo home run in the 2nd inning and blasted a solo shot in the 4th inning. Minnesota simply wore out the Toronto pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.
