Subject: Re: [SmileyList] Lineups
Larry- a. I am far from an expert. I only use a lefty and a righty line up. HAL picks "oppisite" lineups for me. I also have a worse "road" record(games I manage) vs "home" record(games for HAL and potentially affected by my opponents decisions). b. I do not believe there are any integrity issues in this league. c. In your example, Jim Hannan - he is a right handed pitcher with a balance rating of 1R(and faced left handed batters 37% of the time). If a team has the following: vs Left vs Right vs oppisite Left vs oppisite Right Then HAL would chose the vs Right line up. This line up would have the hitters that are best against right handed pitchers. However since his rating is 1R (versus 8R for his team mate Jackie Brown), he is only marginally better against right handed batters. I hope this helps. Alan(Cubs)
