New York AL Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins by the count of 5 to 4. New York AL brought 3 runs across the plate in the top of the 7th

Reniff recorded his 23rd save. The losing pitcher was Jim Perry(7-8). 'Just one or two mistakes were all it took to beat us tonight' Minnesota's manager said. 'We take these games one day at a time, but this one was hard to take.'
