MAY 1 Catcher Merritt Ranew touched them all and had 2 RBI and Bob L Miller delivered 9 solid innings as the Baltimore Orioles beat the New York AL Yankees by a score of 8 to 2. Miller(3-2) was in control of the game from the outset. He didn't give up much, just 4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 4.26. Baltimore had a total of 9 hits for the game.
