JULY 27 Frank Bolling had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Don Mossi pitched a complete game shutout as the dominant Detroit Tigers defeated the New York AL Yankees by the score of 4 to 0 at Tiger Stadium. Frank Bolling helped send the fans home happy. He doubled plating two runs in the 2nd inning and cracked a two-run shot (his 10th of the season) in the 5th inning.
