Luis Aparicio had 3 base hits as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Kansas
City A's by the score of 3 to 0 at Municipal Stadium.
Baltimore took the lead for good in the 7th inning scoring one runner using 2
hits.  Baltimore took care of Kansas City with no trouble in the bottom of
the 9th. 
The win was credited to Jim Palmer(2-0) who went 6 innings allowing no runs.
Palmer got relief help from Dick Hall who gained credit for his 7th save.
The losing pitcher was Paul Lindblad(3-2).

Paul Blair jacked one out of the ballyard as the Baltimore Orioles beat the
slumping Kansas City A's by a score of 6 to 4.
In the 7th inning Baltimore scored 3 runs when they had 3 base hits.  The big
moment was provided by Frank Robinson who silenced Municipal Stadium as he
delivered a one-base hit bringing in two baserunners.  Baltimore finished
with 12 hits in the victory. 
Dave McNally(3-3) allowed 3 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory. Moe
Drabowsky gained credit for his 9th save.  Jim Nash(0-7) suffered the loss.
He was knocked around by Baltimore, allowing 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.

One run was the difference at Municipal Stadium as the Baltimore Orioles
defeated the reeling Kansas City A's 5 to 4.
Jim Hardin(5-0) pitched well enough to earn the win.  He allowed 6 hits and 3
walks in 5 innings.  Hardin was helped out by Moe Drabowsky who pitched a
perfect ninth and recorded his 10th save. 
Tony Pierce(2-2) ended up with the loss.  By surrending 5 runs in 5 and 2/3
innings his ERA jumped from 3.72 to 4.41.  With this win, Baltimore has a
32-17 record.  They have been 6-4 lately.  With this loss, Kansas City has a
3-7 record of late, 15-30 overall.
