Shortstop Roy McMillan went yard and had 2 RBI at Fenway Park where the Boston
Red Sox beat the New York AL Yankees 6 to 1.

Boston jumped on top of New York AL in the bottom of the 5th inning scoring 2
runners on 2 hits.  The big moment was provided by McMillan who made the
crowd come alive when he popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 7th of
the season).  For the game Boston out-hit New York AL 8 to 5.

The victory was credited to Billy O'Dell(12-9) who went 6 innings, allowing 1
run. Art Ditmar(17-6) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 7 innings and
surrendered 6 hits and 1 walk.
