I chose not to use Super Hal. I find that some combination of avoid
lefties, avoid righties, mop up, quick hook, etc. plus specifying my closer
and setup guys works better than Super Hal. Super Hal seems difficult to
program to get the desired results and the usage seems to be more out of
control than using just regular Hal.

As the league's newest member I hope it's o.k. for me to explain my vote.
I would consider myself a hard-line conservative when it comes to baseball
leagues, particularly retro leagues. However, I think Scott Campbell's
arguments are sound and I am inclined to vote for limited interleague play,
though I can certainly see why some might not want it. It's unfortunate
that there can't be more of a consensus on this amongst league members...a
fifty/fifty split is not exactly ideal.
My second thought on this matter is that I hope this doesn't lead to the DH
in the National League. This I am adamantly opposed to. I would hope that
we won't have to play by different rules if there is interleague play, but I
prefer THAT instead of having to use the "dreaded" DH.
The conclusion to all this is that after much consideration the NY Mets vote
3-1-2.

P.S. How many league members use Super Hal? I notice that the former Met
manager did not, and I'm curious as to who does or does not as well as why
or why not.
