Drew, I'm in the same boat - always used the legacy version, but I've recently been playing the new "improved" way. The answer is: yes, you can get the cards to stop disappearing. I think it's explained in the Help. I believe the trick is setting the ballpark layout to Custom, then moving things around so that no other object is on top of the cards. If anything is on top of the cards, they vanish. What I'd like to do - and there's no way I know of - is to make the cards *bigger*.
