Tom Seaver of the Braves threw a three hit shutout to help defeat the Mets 2-0 in game one. Pat Jarvis of the Braves followed with a shutout of his own, getting nine k's in a 3-0 win in game two. Danny Frisella and Calvin Koonce of the Mets returned the favor by combining to pitch a 4-0 shutout win over the Braves in the finale.
