Pirates came back dramatically to top the Montreal Expos by the score of 9 to
7.

Pittsburgh went ahead for good in the 3rd inning when they scored 3 runs on 4
hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Dave Parker who deflated the crowd
as he doubled bringing in two baserunners. Pittsburgh out-hit Montreal for
the game, 17 hits to 8.

Bruce Kison(14-9) got the win allowing 2 runs in 7 innings. Kison got relief
help from Kent Tekulve who gained credit for his 3rd save. Frank
Tanana(20-8) suffered the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 14 hits and 3
walks in 8 innings.
