The New York Mets travel to Fulton County Stadium and take revenge for the spanking they received in the Big Apple. Steve Carlton shuts down the Braves with 9th inning help from Skip Lockwood. Bruce Boisclair's game-tying two-run double is the big hit in the 3-run 9th inning comeback. Doyle Alexander dodges numerous bullets in 7 scoreless innings. A 3-run 8th nails down the 3-0 win. If the Mets can get but a single win against the Pirates they will end week 4 with at least a share of first place!
