Subject: web page update
I have posted the beginnings of a league web page at:

I have noticed that the Adelphia site can be very slow at times, and if this
becomes too painful, the league page will be moved over to Geocities or
somewhere such as that.
Many of you noticed that the address in the Constitution was incorrect, and
hopefully I've got it right now. The Constitution has undergone some minor
revisions, and both the revised version of the Constitution AND the 1968
Strat-O-Matic roster files are linked to the web page, so if you have the
game, you can now get the files.
The web page has a link to a Membership Roster, which doesn't exist yet, but
will soon.
The only changes to the Constitution are:
1. The correct web address is hopefully shown :-)
2. At the suggestion of one of the owners, we will be using plate
appearances, rather than at bats, to determine hitters' usage. The 115%
number has not changed, and P.A. is a more realistic measure than AB.
For those of you new to Strat, download the roster file and Unzip it into
your ROSTERS directory (which should be under the CDROMBB directory, unless
you've installed the game elsewhere). Instructions on how to generally
handle roster, stats & game files will be posted to the web site well before
play begins.
Please note that Egroups has a Chat facility, and that is what will likely
be used for the 1968 Dispersal Draft. The draft will be held after the 1968
membership is finalized, and everyone who's ordered the game has received it
and had a chance to look at the 1968 players.

Finally, team assignments should be announced within a couple of days. We'd
like to give everyone who inquired (and those who may yet do so) a fair
chance to ask for a team. So far there are no major conflicts, and
practically everyone can expect to receive their first choice, or at least
their second. I thank all of you for being flexible in this area.
